24.07.2023I was planning on getting this game, 'cause although I'm still trying to practice to get my driver's license, my "driver's licence permit" (or whatever it's actually called. only translated it from Swedish) have expired. Part 'cause my Autism (or was it Dyslexia? or both?) made it take longer to get everything down.
And right now, my dad's trying to find the papers for my mental condition/s before we can order a new permit.
Anyway, from what little "research" I've done on this game, and… unless I'm wrong, this would allow me to both practice what is missing, As well as making sure I'm not getting rusty.
(I do have a Steering Wheel+Pedals + VR Headset to help out though.)

22.07.2023For ppls future reference, at least in the US, the main things that will screw u over in a test are like using your turn signals, not slowly emerging to check sides at a blind stop, not going out into the intersection to wait for your moment to turn when u don't have the green arrow, or vice versa waiting when the green arrow gives right of way, not checking mirrors regularly, not physically turning ur body to look back when backing up, etc.

21.07.2023Bruh I took my theory almost 2 years ago and because of covid I couldn't get any lessons and now they are all booked… I'm on a 3 month waiting list and my theory ends in august so I have to retake it before I can take the driving test because yes the practical tests are all booked until bloody September 🙁 Plus car insurance is ridiculously high because I live in the UK.

21.07.20235:30 – and shit like this happens in this game about every 5 minutes. imho that is deal breaker and why using this game to train for a driving exam is a bad idea, all you will learn is being scared of other cars. If you really want, just use any other racing game to learn controls – steering wheel, pedals, shifter, and then get some practice in real world with real car.
